Pre-Competitive
The Lincoln Leaper Pre-Competitive team is for children ages 8+ who have been involved in the recreational program but are now wanting to experience and to learn more about competitive jump rope. The instructors are highly skilled and dynamic members of the Lincoln Leapers competitive jump rope team.
The program gives the jumpers a chance to experience the world of competitive jump rope at an introductory level. Athletes will also have a strong focus on further developing their jump rope skills, both in single rope and double dutch.
The pre-competitive program currently runs on Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8pm from September to March with one competition in the month of February.
Participation in this program is by invitation only based on aptitude shown in the recreational program.
