 Little Leapers

Little Leapers is a non-competitive, recreational jump rope program for children between the ages of 6 to 12. The instructors are the highly skilled and dynamic members of the Lincoln Leapers competitive jump rope team.

In a fun and friendly environment, the participants are taught a variety of jump rope skills and techniques. They will learn single rope, double dutch, long ropes, and a number of creative jump rope games.

This program helps to develop coordination, balance, flexibility, speed and endurance, which provide the foundation for all physical activities and sports.

The program runs from September to April, and includes an hour of jump rope/week, a jump rope, and a t-shirt. Classes are Wednesday evenings at Senator Gibson Public School in Beamsville from 5:30-6:30 pm or 6:30-7:30 pm.

The goal of the Little Leapers program is to provide a fun and relaxed, yet safe and healthy non-competitive environment for all of the “Littles" participating in the skipping program.
