Competitive Team

Team Profile

The Lincoln Leapers jump rope team is a non-profit association that was established in 1982 as a small elementary school club. The Lincoln Leapers were the first competitive jump rope team in Canada and they played a fundamental role in the development of the sport across the country. Over the past thirty years the Lincoln Leapers have grown into one of the largest and most decorated teams, holding Provincial, National, and World titles.

The Lincoln Leapers also have an elite performance team that provides a dynamic and entertaining show. In order to stay on top the team practices three to four nights per week for two yours each night. Aside from the competitive and performance teams the Lincoln Leapers also provide a recreational program (Little Leapers) and fitness workshops (cross training for other sports).

Currently the competitive team consists of 36 members ranging in age from six to twenty-five. The team is lead by an exceptional group of coaches who are all former competitive jumpers.
